Streamyx Combo is Very Compelling

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has launched a new and convenient combined Internet and telephony services by offering customers unlimited broadband access and TM Homeline through a single low-cost package with speeds range from 384 Kpbs to 4.0 Mbps ( monthly subscription fee range from RM 60 to RM 160 as per to speeds) with no monthly fixed line rental charges.

Streamyx Customers only need to pay a single monthly fee for their Internet and telephone line services. As an addition, Streamyx Combo customers will receive a free modem, one email account and unlimited broadband access based on a dynamic Internet Protocol (IP) address. A one time activation fee of RM 75, installation fee of RM 88 and stamp duty fee of RM 10 applicable upon activation.
Dato' Adnan Rofiee, Chief Operating Officer of TM, expressed that, the company hope to make broadband more affordable to a wider consumer base, thus keeping in line with the government's effort to increase broadband penetration to 50% by 2010.
