Microsoft 'Heroes Happen Here' Launches 3 New Products


Microsoft Malaysia has launched its three new versions of infrastructure and application platform products which is suitable for enterprise business solution, namely, Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre recently.

Microsoft Windows Server 2008, with built-in web and virtualization technologies, enables one to increase the reliability and flexibility of server infrastructure by maximizing utilization of time and costs, provide user more control and flexibility over servers and streamline web, and lastly to enhanced security and reliability.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 is an intergrated Application Life-Cycle Management (ALM) solution comprising tools, processes and guidance to help everyone on the team improve their skills and work more effectively together, by enhancing collaboration and communication among team members, ensuring software quality and gaining visibility into project activity and priorities to make informed decisions based on real-time data.
SQL Server is a comprehensive data platform that is scalable, secure and reliable for critical applications, by enabling users to make informed decisions by intergrating relevant data, and delivering the right information to all users via Microsoft Office.

Marketing Organisation's Server and Tools Business Group Director, Mr. Ng Wai Mun said Microsoft is targeting enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses and IT professionals as its potential customers.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia, Yasmin Mahmood, believed, with the launch of 3 new products, it has created a powerful new platform and tools that have been built following feedbacks from IT developers and professionals.
