SAP is Targeting 1Billion Users by 2014

SAP, the world's leading provider of business software, is expected to have a billion users in using its business applications within 5 years. With more than 97,000 customers as well as 34 million users in over 120 countries, the company has kickstarted its Asia Leadership Dialogues 2010 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre today.

Speaking at media conference, Mr. V.R Srivatsan, Managing Director of SAP Malaysia, voiced "...this year the SAP World Tour in Kuala Lumpur features technologies which customers can adopt at their own pace, without disruption, giving them the edge on their competition by enabling their own corporate strategies...". Srivatsan also pointed out,"our role is to have visible presence with the business consumer, we want to provide the right business application to business users so that they can make decisions".

Meanwhile, Mr. Krish Datta, President of SAP South East Asia, said"SAP's product strategy makes it easier for people to work more efficiantly and use business insight more effectively, and at the same time, helping companies of all sizes grow profitably and sustainably. Mr. Krish added,"...we can innovate at the pace of customers and we want to grow on demand which applications suit, where does it suits you, what you want to use, how you want to grow your business..."
