Sony Indulges In A World Of Full High Definition


Sony Malaysia has launched its latest range of Full High Definition products, such as Sony Full HD BRAVIA TV, HD Handycam camcorder, Cyber-Shot cameras, Alpha DSLR cameras, Blu-ray Disc Player, VAIO Blu-ray Disc models as well as Full HD SXRD at Kuala Lumpur recently.

According to General Manager of Product Marketing Division of Sony Malaysia, Mr. Taku Taguchi, "Sony will continue to revolutionise in order to enhance the way people are entertained everyday".

The new BRAVIA W400 series LCD TV featuring "Draw the Line" design concept inspired by the brilliant night horizon with shimmering Midnight Blue finish. The BRAVIA W400 is available in 40-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch that, enable users to view video and images from Sony's Handycam, playable with Sony's Walkman MP3 Player, Bluetooth-enabled Sony Ericsson and with Sony's Blu-ray Disc Player connected directly via HDMI to Sony's Full SXRD home projector to Full HD BRAVIA TV.

In conjunction with the launch of new BRAVIA, Sony also unveiled its Sony Full HD Handycam HDR-SR 12E (10.2 megapixel) that includes Exmore derived technology and Clear Vid CMOS sensor, the world's first face Detection technology, Dolby Digital 5.1 Creator zoom-in microphone hybrid recording that allows users to choose their recording format of either Hard Disk Drive or Memory Stick. The camcorder (powered by 120GB HDD) has 3.2" Xtra Fine LCD screen and it enable users to view high definition image or video output on BRAVIA LCD TV via Sync.



The popular Cyber-Shot DSC-T300 model was also unveiled and the new T-series T300 incorporates Photo TV HD technology that enables high resolution, life-like photo reproductions with greater gradation and richer colour on the big screen. The new T300 has enhanced features like Face Detection, Smile Shutter function that captures a smiling face, Super Steady Shot that promises vivid image, Intelligent Scene Recognition Mode that detects up to 5 different types of scenes; Underwater Mode and Easy Shooting Mode.


Sony with a user friendly concept has implemented Cyber Shot T300 to connect to FULL HD BRAVIA for high definition photo viewing or image playback via Cyber CSS-HD.
